Bring your own supplies and your project, and take advantage of our comfortable classroom to work on a project of your choice! Capture the joy of watercolor while painting outdoors in Cadillac’s beautiful Sound Garden! Learn techniques of watercolor, sketching, and journaling. Create 3-4 watercolor paintings along with journaling notes. Leave with a watercolor journal and resources for further exploration. Spend time to relax, reflect, refresh, get artsy, and have fun expressing yourself while painting in a lovely garden of flowers!

All materials will be provided, watercolor paints, brushes, and a journal. These will be student grade, so please feel free to bring your own favorite art supplies.

We will meet at the "Sound Garden." 398 Chestnut Street. This class is outdoors, please dress appropriately. (Sunscreen, bug spray, hat, camp chair and water.)

Up North Arts Presents “Creators Camp”—a dynamic, all-inclusive summer art experience designed to ignite and nurture young imaginations.
Scheduled from July 27-30, 2026, this unique opportunity invites 1st through 4th graders to immerse themselves in the vibrant world of art. Participants will explore a range of artistic disciplines, including Color Theory, 2D and 3D Art, Drawing, Painting, Printing, and Clay.
Guided by experienced instructors, each child will delve into the elements and principles of art, gaining real skills in a supportive and inspiring environment. This camp promises a memorable experience filled with creativity and learning.

This all-level belly dance class focuses on developing fluidity, strength, and control through movements centered on the hips, shoulders, and core. Dancers of all experience levels are guided through isolations, combinations, and gentle conditioning exercises designed to enhance body awareness and flexibility. The class begins with a dynamic warm-up to prepare the muscles and joints, followed by technique drills that refine hip articulations, shoulder shimmies, and undulations. Emphasis is placed on posture, alignment, and connecting movement with breath and rhythm. This class encourages self-expression, confidence, and the joy of movement while deepening participants’ connection to the art of belly dance.
