Description: We will be creating a "Save the Honeybee" project. The design we create in class will use patterns we have used in our intro class and be similar to the one shown in the image. We will have a brief prisma color lesson so we can add color to our design at the end if desired. This will be fun! Learn new tangles and techniques. We will explore the beginnings of a ZIA (Zentangle® Inspired Art) piece. You will learn many organic tangles that grow as you draw. Bring your supplies from previous classes if you have them, additional supplies available to help you create a beautiful Zentangle® Garden. Some color pencil application and instruction may be shared.
Being an Artist is NOT required & Artists are welcome! This Foundations of this Zentangle class lays the groundwork to begin your Zentangle journey as your pen dances “one stroke at a time.” We will learn how to use materials to maximum effect and begin to understand how magical shading makes your tangles stand out from the crowd. If you can draw stick figures you will enjoy this experience. Leave with a completed tile and ideas for more!
