Description: Enjoy summer through watercolor! We’ll learn a few basics of watercolor, then sketch and paint
in a watercolor journal in Cadillac’s own beautiful Sound Garden. In journaling anything goes!
Watercolor journaling is a fun, easy, relaxing way to explore and; express yourself while capturing nature’s beautiful colors you enjoy in summer. You will receive an Accordion Style Watercolor Journal for your explorations. All other materials, watercolor paints and brushes will be provided, but please feel free to bring your own.
*We will meet at the “Sound Garden” at 398 Chestnut Street. This class is outdoors, please dress appropriately! (Sunscreen, bugspray, hat, and water.) In case of rain we will be at UNA.

MATERIALS WE PROVIDE:
*Watercolors and Brushes
*Practice watercolor paper, newsprint/soft crayons (Art Sketchbook Journal Class supplies)
*Clipboards, water cups, small zip lock bags
*Teacher will lend you a “Nature Journal Kit” for use during class – (pouch, pencil, eraser, ruler,
paper towels, waterbrush, binder clips, etc.)
