Acrylic: Big Skies Large Canvas (1 day- 6 hours with a 45-minute lunch break)
Are you interested in learning how to paint stunning landscapes with dynamic clouds and big horizons? This class is the perfect opportunity to do so! You'll work on a large 24" x 24" canvas and begin by underpainting the entire canvas in orange to create a cohesive base. We'll then sketch out the composition before practicing basic blending techniques and cloud shapes. You will learn to mix and apply colors to create a vibrant and dramatic sky. Finally, we'll finish by making the foreground with color drips, palette knife blending, and oil pastels, to produce a beautiful foreground. Our experienced instructor, Julie, will guide you through each step of the process, providing demonstrations, coaching, and classroom time.
